Per Hour verses Day Rate

Sometimes we have been asked what the difference is between the "per hour" and the "day" rate. The charge is different depending on the type of shoot that needs to be done. If it's a full model shoot that is going to take most of the day, then the day rate would take precidence over the per hour rate due to it being cheaper overall. Mojave Union Pacific Trail This way it saves our client money and we make sure we don't overcharge them. However, if we are only shooting part of the day, then most likely the hourly rate would apply, because it would be lower than the full day rate overall.

We work with each client to go over the rate schedule so there are no hidden costs. We are as up front as possible about what the shoot and image processing will cost the client. If anything out of the ordinary comes up, we contact the client right away and let them know what has happened and why. We then asked them how they would like to proceed. We do our very best to keep our clients informed every step of the way. It's important to us that they feel confident that we have everything handled...all the way from the shoot through the delivery of the images to them.

What do you think?

We here at Sunrise Photography were thinking of putting up a "Tips & Tricks" page for up and coming photographers. We were wondering what everyone's thoughts were on that.

Would you be interested in a type of page such as that? Every few weeks we would put up a new tip or trick regarding photography. It might be regarding a shooting technique or a photoshop technique or something to that effect.

We would love to hear from you in regards to this idea. Feel free to shoot us an email by visiting the link below or our contact page and let us know what you think!
